Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology - (Clinical Scholar Track)
Dr. Heather Reed is an Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Department of OB/GYN. She also serves as the Assistant Program Director for the OB/GYN Residency program, and Director of the OB/GYN Clerkship. She has an interest in teaching, curriculum development, curriculum assessment, and technology solutions. She developed several rubrics for the Department of OB/GYN (learning plan rubric, service improvement plan rubrics, presentation rubrics, reflection rubric, clinical write-up rubric, screening tool rubric, mortibility and mortality rubric, analysis of medical error, and system-based approach rubric, and the fish-bone diagram) which were recognized by the Graduate Medical Education Office. Soon thereafter, she was hired as the Graduate Medical Education Curriculum Assessment Specialist (2010-2013).
